Rhubarb Crumble Recipe

I haven’t made this in about a year, whether that is because of the sun or just lack of rhubarb I’m not sure! So this is how I made it…

Ingredients:

  • 500g Rhubarb
  • 100g Caster Sugar
  • 100g Plain Flour
  • 100g Oats
  • 100g Butter (unsalted)
  • 4 tbsp of Demerara Sugar
  • Zest of a orange                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Cooking Time: 45 mins- 1 hour                                  Preparation Time- 20 mins

Method

  1. Cut the Rhubarb into 1 or 2 cm pieces.
  2. Put the cut rhubarb in a over proof dish. Now add the sugar and orange zest, Make sure you have room to put the crumble on top.
  3. Cook the rhubarb for 10-20 mins until you can smell the rhubarb and a fork comes out easily.
  4. Whilst the rhubarb is cooking, mix the rest of the ingredients into a bowl and work them until they look all crumbled together and have a crumbled consistency.
  5. Remove the rhubarb from the oven and pour the crumble on the top. Bake this in the oven for 30-45 mins.
  6. Take it out when you think it is right.
  7. Serve with ice cream!

Hope you enjoy this recipe!

I don’t actually have any Two Faced Makeup but I’m putting it on my favourites as I love seeing it in shops. I love how it smells like peaches! It is stocked in John Lewis.

2. Primark – In General

I just love 70% of the items in Primark. This month especially the Harry Potter range which has never been in the shops before! The throws are also so comfy and fluffy!

This ice cream is just heaven! I love all the flavours but I would recommend the cookie dough flavour!
