24 Days of Sparkle Girl – Places to Put Your Christmas Lights!

Although most people put their lights on their tree… If you want some extra sparkle around your entire house, here are a few ideas:

  • If you have a fireplace, hang them from the mantelpiece
  • On your banisters or handrail of any stairs
  • On bookshelves or even just shelves
  • Round window frames
  • Along the curtain rail
  • At the top of the bed’s headboard!

Basically any flat surface would work!

24 Days of Sparkle Girl – Fun Santa Picture!

This is a fun creative thing to do with younger children!

You will need:

  • Gold or silver glitter paint (or both!)
  • A coloured in picture/drawing of Santa and his reindeer
  • A small paintbrush
  • Plain black (a4) piece of paper
  • A glue stick

Steps:

  • Print out (or draw your own) picture of Santa and reindeer.
  • Cut it out and colour it in.
  • Squeeze a little bit of paint onto a plate and fill up a glass of water.
  • Dot all of the paper with little bits of paint to look like stars, I have made a trail of stars to follow the sleigh
  • Using a glue stick, stick the Santa cut-out onto the black starry paper.

Now you have finished, maybe you could stick it on your wall or something!

  • A medium-sized vase
  • A golden leaf/stick (also from wilkinsons)

  • First place your holly garland in the vase, making sure the wire and switch is behind the vase.
  • Cut around 2-4cm off the bottom of the golden sticks, be careful as the golden sticks may scratch you.

October Favourites

In this version I am going to be putting September favourites and October favourites together!

1. McVities Digestive Nibbles – Milk Caramel

I have always loved digestive biscuits but I can find them a bit filling but now… I can munch all day on the nibble version.

2. Adidas Jacket

I wanted one of these for a while and now, I have one! They are great in the cold or the heat, the rain or the sun, windy or not windy.

3. Wilkinson’s Bath Bombs

I know this one sounds a bit weird but if you are looking for a cheap bath bomb try these ones. I would advise the blue ones though as they fizz more.

4. Along Comes Betty – Moisturizer

Be careful not to leave this in the sun as it turns into a  yoghurt-like consistency but apart from that it smells like peaches and is good.
